WE ARE SO CLOSE TO THE FINISH LINE!
We’re excited to inform you that we have gone to print with nearly all of our reward items and are on track for July/August fulfillment for all of your physical rewards. Sean is putting the final touches on the MASTERCLASS edition, and we will be sending it off to the printers very soon!
We hope you all have enjoyed this journey that Sean has personally crafted for everyone in ZORRO: MAN OF THE DEAD through the digital releases but we know you will be blown away by these physical books.
As a friendly reminder, for those who have added items to your pledge through BACKERKIT, they will be processing cards NEXT MONDAY (June 10th, 2024) for those specific add-ons. All physical backers will still be charged the shipping costs separately just before our fulfillment (Expecting that to be Mid-July) to ensure the most accurate shipping costs.
DALLAS THIS WEEKEND
For those in the Dallas (TX) area this week, Massive Publishing and Sean Gordon Murphy will be at DALLAS FAN EXPO this weekend and look forward to connecting with all backers and fans alike! Massive will be at Table #939.

Issue 4 drops tomorrow and reminder that Backerkit surveys due this week

We hope you have been enjoying the wild ride that Sean has taken us on with this exciting new series. As we come to the close of our retail/digital distribution we are looking forward to assembling all of the premium rewards and getting them into your hands this summer. In the mean time a few key updates...
ISSUE #4 DIGITAL RELEASE TOMORROW:
Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1st, will be the release of Zorro: Man of the Dead #4. All backers will receive a Dropbox link in their direct message inbox to download your digital copy of the final issue of the series. As always you can also access your digital copy at any time via our digital partner Omnibus! Instructions on how to access the Omnibus digital content through the app will be sent to the email address associated with your Kickstarter. Omnibus is now available on all iOS devices with Android devices soon to follow! To download the app on your iOS device,CLICK HERE.
If you have not received an Omnibus email for your digital rewards, please verify your pledge and check your spam/junk folder associated with the correct email to ensure you receive your rewards accordingly. For anyone who missed any previous issue’s download link we be opening up those downloads temporarily and including those links with the issue 4 download sent directly to your inbox.
Due to concerns over link sharing this is not something we can leave up indefinitely, so if you'd like have access at any point in the future we encourage you to download the pdf or use the Omnibus app steps listed in Update #20. Again, please double check that your pledge is verified, and the spam/junk folder associated with your backer account email.
BACKERKIT GRACE PERIOD:
We are excited that over 90% of our backers have finalized their Backerkit surveys and many have taken advantage of the extended add-on period. With some limited edition variant covers still in stock and a few hundred backers with outstanding surveys we are extending the due date till end of week. Once orders are locked, backers will no longer be able to add-on items or change their pledges (including opting in to receive free bonus items) so please double-check that your survey has been finalized with any final add-ons and your current addresses. Please note, Addresses will still be editable up until we collect the shipping fees. Once the Backerkit surveys are locked in we will begin going to print on some of our final rewards and begin organizing everyone’s orders for this summer’s fulfillment.

FRIENDLY BACKERKIT REMINDER:
The final cut off date to finalize your Backerkit survey is on MAY 1, 2024. So please finalize your orders with any final add-ons and your current addresses. Once the Backerkit survey collection is completed we will begin going to print on some of our final rewards and begin organizing everyone’s orders for this Summer’s fulfillment.

Hello Zorros,
As we enter into the last month of survey collections on Backerkit, we’d just like to remind everyone to finalize their orders and input your current addresses. You can still update your products and get in any final add-ons for your rewards over the next few weeks but once the Backerkit survey collection is closed we will be locking in orders and we will not be taking on add-on requests after that point.
On the production side, Sean has put the finishing touches on Zorro: Man of the Dead #4 and is hard-at-work crafting the bonus content for the Masterclass Edition.

Heads up! Tomorrow (Wednesday, March 27th) will be the release of Zorro: Man of the Dead #3. All backers will receive a dropbox link in their direct message inbox to download your digital copy. KEY UPDATE: Backerkit Surveys going live today!

KEY UPDATE!!!
We appreciate your patience and are happy to say its time to fill out your surveys! Over the weekend we executed our smoke test on Backerkit. Meaning a small percentage of surveys were sent out to identify any problems with how we set up our Backerkit page. We did encounter a few small issues that we have since corrected. So, if you were part of this weekends focus group, please go back into Backerkit to verify your survey as it may be incomplete due to updates we made.
One key error we discovered was in regards to the 48 hour Early-Bird "Poster" variant. For anyone who purchased this add-on at $1, you will have a $1 credit on your account as we manually added the FREE copy to your account as promised. That $1 credit can be applied to any additional purchases made through Backerkit, or will automatically apply to your shipping fees. If you backed a physical tier in the first 48 hours, you will receive the poster variant as a complimentary item and don't need to do anything to receive the book. Anyone who purchased additional copies of it at the $15 price will see that as a standard add-on in their rewards list. You can also still buy additional copies (limited quantity available) of the Poster variant and others in the Backerkit Add-On store.
We also added an opt-in/out question to the surveys for the 3 free books that were unlocked during the campaign. These books will contribute to the shipping calculation so if you prefer not to get those, just select no. If you select yes, those will be added to your rewards on the following page. (note: Comic Shops that backed the Retailer tier will not see this question but will receive multiple copies of each as a thank you)
Lastly, since we are talking about shipping, our goal is to create the most secure and cost effective shipping process once we have books in hand. we will be calculating shipping once we have concluded the survey window and are preparing to ship your books. You will receive an email from Backerkit at that time giving one last chance to verify the shipping before we charge the card on file.
We will update the FAQ page on Backerkit and Kickstarter if we encounter any issues that weren't flagged in the Smoke Test phase. Please check the FAQ page before contacting us in case we've already posted an answer to your question/concern.
