For all of our domestic backers, as you probably saw, Backerkit sent out an email notifying that the credit cards on file would be charged for the shipping of your rewards. We spent a lot of time figuring out what would be the absolute cheapest way to get you your rewards while also ensuring we protected the books at the highest standard. That means, bagging and boarding single issues, bubble wrapping sets of books and using Gemini mailers inside of sealed bubble mailers. We’ve also opted for flat rate shipping tiers through FedEx as it allowed us to keep pricing more consistent across the board and gave a small discount. We’ve already packaged many of the orders and are going to be shipping those out as payments are processed.
Also, we wanted to address the delivery dates for the different types of books. We received the Hardcovers and they look gorgeous (check out the fresh copies below). We pushed back the retail release for the softcover (originally scheduled for July) so that your KS rewards would be shipping around the same time as the retail release. We would have loved to get the books to backers first but the hardcover printing does take longer to produce and processing thousands of orders is obviously a big undertaking.
The Artist Edition books are set to arrive in about a week from China, at which point we will immediately begin fulfilling those orders. Sadly the production of the casebound Master Class Editions hit delays when our Canadian printer pushed back production dates unexpectedly and we had to pivot to using the Chinese printer that produced the Artist Editions. We’ve paid express air shipping rates to reduce the delay as much as possible, and the ETA on those books have moved from early next month to late next month.
International backers, admittedly we are in a bit of a holding period as we wait for EasyShip to provide us with updated pricing for international shipping/fees. Once they've provided that we can begin processing those orders. We've been told by EasyShip that we should have that within the next few days.
Once again, we will be sending out new direct downloads for the full collected PDF to all backers who contributed to a reward tier. Those will be sent directly (not through omnibus) so keep an eye out for that. We will not be providing any further support for Omnibus questions as this new edition will replace those downloads.

As we approach the planned fulfillment window (July/August), we wanted to make sure to communicate with you – the backers who made this project possible – on where we are at in the fulfillment process…
As you can see things are coming together and we are excited to begin the fulfillment process. As a friendly reminder, you can still update your shipping addresses via the Backerkit website and domestic shipping will be calculated and charged starting next month. To insure we don’t run into problems with duty/import fees, our international shipping costs will be done through EZ Ship starting next month.
As always, we are beyond appreciative of your support and feedback as we have gone through this process (especially when we've hit bumps in the road). This was a huge project that everyone involved has poured an immense amount of their time and passion into. Needless to say, we can't wait to get these beautiful books into your hands.
